For You...

Here is a short story. I don't know whether this make you think the same way I did. Anyway the moral of this story seems wright for me...

Once there lived a farmer and his son in a beautiful village. His mother got expired when he was born. Father was everything for him.

There was his friend's family as their neighbor. Father, mother and a beautiful girl made up that small happy family. They were good friends. The boy and girl were in love.

But after his school days his father send him abroad for studies. At first he send letters to that girl, but as time passed it came to an end. There was no contact between them. He was fed up with his own enjoyments there. The girl send him many letters but he didn't replied. Years passed...

After completing his studies he returned back to home. He was in a bad mood. And after knowing that his girl is now a wife, made him in extra agony.
His father noticed all this things.

One day he went to his father and asked,

"WHAT IS LOVE?"

Father thought for a while and replied,

"In order to answer your question, go to the wheat

field and choose the biggest wheat and come back.
But one thing: you can go through them only once and cannot
turn back to pick."

He went to the field, went through first row, he saw one big wheat,
but he wonders....may be there is a bigger one later.

Then he saw another bigger one... but may be there is an even bigger
one waiting for him.

Later, when he finished more than half of the wheat field, he starts to
realize that the wheat is not as big as the previous one he saw, he
knew he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted.

So, he ended up went back to his father with empty hand. His father
told him,
"...this is love... you keep looking for better ones, but
when later you realize, you have already missed the person."

here ends the story...

SO DON'T MISS A PERSON WHO LOVES YOU AND WHOM YOU FEEL FOR...

Great story da....Pakshe What about if the man was going for a job? Then will the moral of the story imply to something like 'Hey man you dont be panic about loosing that old wheat there is lot of another ones with the same quality...........".And do you think will the moral of the story gives you the right to steel the wheat of some one by giving the above advice to go to the field again and select some other????????

@Ranjith

You are throughly mistaken my dear friend... It's just a story and there is nothing like stealing wheat and like that stuffs. And definitely it's not an advice... I just felt so... that's all...

hello Mr. Primofacto, Edo ethra per avideyum ivideyum aayi oru chappathi thinnam nokki yirikunnu, nee ivide wheatum vech irikukayaano......da i remember one proverb on this occassion...It was some thing regarding a dog, a cow and little hay and as my vague mind can trace back it was about eating the hay, I think....................

I didn't understand why you people are hanging on that wheat, rice and all... It's just a story and I don't want to argue with you...And also I don't want to prove anything... Kindly take in a good sense...

hey Mr Anonymous and eyes at my sight, you are talking of a 2nd grade fairy tale with a moral and not about the solutions of a sixth degree differential equation with complex roots.......... please do consider your remarks to be either too confusing or stupid enough to really hide the essence behind that lovely story that primofacto has tried to bring forth through his post.

I do believe the moral is more or less a fact but I really can't relate the moral to the rest of the story. Did you make one up or wuz it copied from somwhere else?

Hi everybody, I hope there is still lot more who dont think it is mere the different views of the people that keeps someone or the dear primofacto itself frightened from the discussion. I never want to state it cent percentage that the above comment from our dear hailstone is enough for what i have said above but sometimes an idea in our authors mind to delete the post to get rid from the mouths of us if there is something like that will do it..........Also i dont think just the above fear wont be enough to make our friend to run away by deleting it.......what ever it may be lets have the discussion going ......

-will come with more comments later on the coming responses if have any.................

@Rohith

It's not copied...and also not genuine made... My mother used to tell me one like this... I just added a head and tail to that... that's all... There is no rocket science in the story... I just wanted to tell you pals ...:)

@Anony

It's not the case of fear and stuffs... I just said the moral of the story seems wright for me and I don't have any arguments in favour or against that...

@ Mr Anonymous
See Mr. whoever , how can you be so so insane to start a quarrel outta nowhere.. there are much better posts on what we can quarrel.
First of all if you want to make some point clear, make it. What you have done is criticising the author and not his blog or post. This is a comments section for the post and not merely the author. If you find something uninteresting or strange in his post, do mention it.
Enough is enough dude, we juz can't make out what is so much disturbing for you in this blog. Im worried where my pals devidas n sami n all are..........

I too have the same words to convey as Rohith's. Actually what these people wants the author to do?? Actually at the first reading me too was having such doubts about what the story wants to convey? I had commented about it too but it was clear with very next comment from the author.But I think these comments from the anony* whoever it may be and our deepak (eyes at **) was actually born by some situation where they read the post with some prejudice.....It should be the very prejudice thats driving them...Views will definitely defferent for defferent people and do all have the have there right to speak there views out and sometimes there will be nothing other than these deferent views that keeps the posts alive...BUT..I think these people have crossed some barriers here and is playing with the emotions of the author for a while....It will be better for them to stop their comments if it seems to annoying someone....

hi. everyone
interesting to notice there has been a feud running over here and i didn't notice it till now..
i've some thing to say here:

1. abt the story:
this was actually told by some greek philosopher to some king when he was asked the value of education. the story has ben modified over the ages to suit our situation.

2. the sense of the story, both contextually and presentation-wise is indisputable as my comrade rohit put it. the essence of the story intimidated the writer who in turn penned it down.

3. and about the logic behind it and what one should actually decide about the "wheat", "rice" and "sugarcane" i could find three opinions here:

a} never lose what you have to gain something yet unknown( one in hand is worth two in bush).

b} leave what you got if you are sure you will get a better choice later on up ahead in your life because " picture abhi baaki hai"( courtesy O.S.O :) )!

c} the infidels suspecting losses and expecting a future of despair lest they venture in for what apparently would be a bargain given the option that they take the risk.

as far asa i can say, i've made my choice that shall remain undisclosed here, primarily because it was never asked here :).
yet the fact still remains that what ever it is, its after all us who make the ultimate decisions in regard to our future, and thats where the worn out picture of "compromise" comes.

so good luck fellows...

another thing i missed here( i promise i won't make this long or else i shall put it up as a post in my blog) is the matter of choice one gets. often its very few and being humans greed overpowers need( aakrantham in simple words). be the judge of your self when it comes to such crucial junctures where a wrong turn could be fatal to the existence of phychological existence and happiness.

@Devi

Though it's a bit long, Your comment make some sense.

"i've made my choice that shall remain undisclosed here, primarily because it was never asked here :)."

Kindly, let us know...:)
